The Grow Curriculum encourages learning through fun and interactive activities that stimulate the domains of child development: motor, sensory & perceptual, cognitive, social-emotional and language. The aim of our curriculum is to provide the teachers with tools to assist them in developing all areas of child development. We use a holistic approach to development by incorporating play as the main aim of our curriculum. Children learn best through play; and providing a structured day-program filled with educational play-time ensures that the children are optimally stimulated and that learning takes place in all areas of development. Our planning programs for children 1 – 6 are based on the NCF curriculum with the following ELDA’s covered in the structured day-program: Well Being, Identity & Belonging, Communication, Creativity, Mathematics & Knowledge and Understanding of the world.
